We are a group of former athletes that will use the experience gained by playing collegiate and professional football to impact and help youth do what it takes to maximize their potential and make it to the next level. We provide athletic training for professional, collegiate and amateur athletes as well as summer skills camps for youth football players.
ABM is committed to improving athletic performance, preventing injuries, and improving Linear and lateral speed, Agility, Power, Dynamic stability, Strength, conditioning level, core strength, and sport-specific tests while building confidence with the use of highly trained, experienced, motivated and knowledgeable instructors along with state of the art facilities and training equipment.
Allen Langford Director of Performance Coaches
Allen Langford is a former collegiate athlete where he started at corner for four years at University of Wisconsin. He was a two time All-Big Ten athlete as well as academic All-Big Ten, he also was team MVP of the 2008 football team. He graduated with a Business and Communication degree. Upon completion of college he was afforded a tryout with the Buffalo Bills. He has interned at University of Toledo with coach Rick Court as well as the San Francisco 49ers as a Fellowship Coach. He has worked with a lot of high school local kids, including 20 division one athletes who are going to Michigan State, Ohio State, TCU, Michigan and Wisconsin. He has worked with a host of NFL players, such as, Vernon Gholston, NY Jets, Bart Scott, NY Jets, Owen Daniels, Houston Texans, Steve Slaton, Houston Texans, John Bowie, Cleveland Browns, DeAndre Levy, Detroit Lions, and numerous college athletes, He has his certification with NSCA/CSCS. He has been offered coaching jobs with the University of Toledo, Wayne State University, and San Francisco 49ers.
Blake Sims Head Performance Coach
Blake Sims is a former football collegiate athlete at Southern Illinois. He played Defensive Back and a pivotal part of special teams. Before attending Southern Illinois he was on scholarship at Western Michigan University. Where he started at corner as a true freshman and finished the year with seven starts and couple of pass break ups as well as an interception. He transferred to Southern Illinois in 2005. He was recognized in 2007 as part of the conferences academic honor roll. His major was exercise science. He has his masters degree in exercise science from Southern Illinois May 2010. He also has his CSCS certification. He completed his internship with the strength and conditioning staff at Southern Illinois. He is now a Performance Coach with ABM.
Butler Benton Head of Business Operations
Butler Benton is also a former collegiate athlete where he lettered at the University of Cincinnati from 2004-2008. He played running back and finished his career as the leading rusher on the team. Freshman all conference in 2004. All Big East Performer. Upon completion with the Cincinnati Bearcats he had a brief stint with the San Francisco 49ers. He majored in finance with a minor in Real Estate Development. He is currently head of business and finance development with ABM. He has worked with group homes specifically with Benton’s Absolute Care Inc. for the past seven years handling administrative duties, payroll, group outings and service events. He also mentors kids from underprivileged homes. He worked as a mentor and tutor at the Dexter-Elmhurst community center while he in high school, helping students with schoolwork as well as dealing with life problems and issues. His role includes but is not limited to handling all of the business activities and development, providing all of the necessities for the mentorship program. He will also be interviewing potential mentors as well as searching young men and women in need of help, direction and guidance. He is also responsible for developing activities and events for kids to do as well as events and community service projects for Athletic Body Mechanics.
Vernon Gholston Executive Director
Vernon Gholston is a Defensive End for the NY Jets. He was the 6th pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. He attended the Ohio State University where he was a 2 time All Big Ten All Conference Defensive End. He was also a Consensus All American in 2008. He has hosted a number of youth sports camps and attended charity events. He is currently working on developing his non profit organization( Think Y) which is affliated with ABM. He is the Executive Director for ABM. He collaborates with the staff and develops the very best system to accomodate the needs of the company. ABM is excited about the upcoming season for Vernon Gholston and the NY Jets.
Bryce Morris Performance Coach
Bryce Morris played 4years as wide receiver as one of leading receivers during the season. 3 time Missouri Valley conference champion. As a freshman in 2005 was award outstanding offensive player of the year honors (voted by team). In 2010 Received sports network national player of the week for special teams and Missouri Valley offensive player of the week honors in 2010. Also while attending Southern Illinois university received a masters degree in exercise science and a bachelors degree in kinesiology. Also received academic honors from Missouri Valley conference for outstanding academic performance. Certified personal trainer with national academy of sports medicine(NASM). Cpr/Aed certified Red Cross. Has had experience with training elementary athletes to collegiate level athletes. Received assistantship to train high school athletes for summer conditioning (summer 2009). He is now a Performance Coach with ABM
Brandon Bufford Head of Media Relations
Branden Bufford is a former collegiate athlete. He started at cornerback for three years at Howard University and spent time with the Detroit Lions in training. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education. He has been a student teacher at Deal Middle School in Washington DC. He has also been involved with directing the TRUTH Football Camp as well as a coach at other various camps around the country. He is an active mentor for several young athletes and will be actively involved with ABM’s non profit organization. He is now the Head of Media Relations for ABM.
